This Year 1 Addition Problems Reasoning and Problem Solving resource provides children with two new challenges to test their understanding of solving addition problems. There's one reasoning question, and one problem solving question. Each one ask children to think a little deeper and explain the way they have reached a solution.

The questions are engaging and include colourful images, and we've included an answer page to make self and peer marking a breeze. This resource can be accessed independently or in small groups.
