This Year 1 Find a Quarter of a Quantity TPP contains all you need to explain to your children about quarters and how to find a quarter of an amount. The PPT uses a range of images and representations to explain the process of sharing a quantity into four equal groups.

The PPT is organised into Let’s Learn sections, where new ideas and vocabulary are modelled, and Let’s Practise sections, where pupils can apply their learning through short, focused activities. It also includes reasoning and problem-solving questions to deepen understanding and give children opportunities to apply their knowledge in different contexts.
