Support children's understanding of hours, minutes and seconds with this Year 1 Hours, Minutes and Seconds Varied Fluency worksheet. Children will begin to understand the difference between these units of time, and are introduced to the fact that there are 60 seconds in 1 minute and 60 minutes in 1 hour.

Children will compare durations of time using quicker and slower. When comparing times with the same unit i.e. seconds, they will understand that the smallest number is the quickest time or shortest duration.
