Challenge pupils' knowledge of 2D shapes with this Year 1 Make 2D Shapes Discussion Problem. Can children cut out and use triangles to make a square, a rectangle and a different sized triangle?

This problem will generate plenty of discussion while children work out possible shapes they can make. Ideal for paired or group work!

Teaching Note: Scissors are necessary. Some children may need support cutting the triangles out.
