Give children the best start when introducing capital letters using this Year 1 Capital Letters 2 Unit Plan.

With six small steps to work your way through, each lesson comprises of a set of notes and guidance which include key teaching points and focused questions to help get you started. The length of time taken to teach these is flexible as multiple ideas are introduced and consolidated. As an optional focus, you may wish to include a session on accurate formation and sizing of each capital letter.
