This Year 1 Recognising and Forming Capital Letters Mixed Activity resource consists of three tasks to challenge children - a reading task and two writing tasks.

The reading task provides simple sentences to read and then asks children to identify the capital letters. In the first writing task, they identify where there are capital letters missing in a sentence and then rewrite the sentence correctly. In the final writing task, they write an original sentence using a word bank with pictures.
