This Year 1 Subtraction - Take Away (How Many Left?) activity has been created to provide those children that need a little extra support with opportunities to practise finding how many are left using subtraction. The resource takes the form of a game, for small groups, and requires concrete resources to give children the chance to get hands-on with their work. Instructions have also been provided to ensure that any supporting adult can feel confident in delivering the activity.
