Present children with the opportunity to showcase what they know and understand about compound nouns with this Year 2 Compound Nouns resource.

With a selection of questions to choose from, children will need to use and apply their knowledge and understanding of compound nouns to enable them to answer one reasoning and two application questions.

Ideal for use once our varied fluency worksheet has been completed for this lesson, this resource could be completed in class or sent home as additional practice for anyone who may need it. Answers are provided to help support self and peer marking in the classroom.
