Consolidating Prefixes and Suffixes Application

Worksheet
An image of the Consolidating Prefixes and Suffixes Application Resource

Give children the opportunity to add prefixes and suffixes to different root words with our Year 2 Consolidating Prefixes and Suffixes Application activity. This worksheet presents a range of root words and asks children to add prefixes and suffixes to each one. Children can be challenged to identify the root word that the most prefixes and suffixes can be added to.

You could even challenge children further by asking them to use each word in a sentence. Print this activity or display on your interactive whiteboard for children to complete in their books.
