With this Year 2 Make Equal Groups Grouping Discussion Problem, children will deepen their understanding of making equal groups by grouping objects from a larger quantity. Through a contextualised scenario, children will be able to apply their previous knowledge and put their reasoning and problem solving skills into practice.

This discussion problem is ideal for working in pairs or small groups. There are multiple solutions to the problem, however we have included an example answer to support self or peer marking.
