This Year 2 Make Equal Groups Varied Fluency resource will help your pupils develop their understanding of making equal groups from a total number of objects. There are three different varied fluency questions for them to undertake.

The resource is differentiated three ways, as shown below:

Developing: Questions to support comparing and making equal groups, using up to 5 images per group.

Expected: Questions to support comparing and making equal groups, using up to 10 images per group and some numbers are represented as words.

Greater Depth: Questions to support comparing and making equal groups, where each image can represent more than 1.
