This engaging Year 2 Suffixes for Comparative Adjectives Homework resource allows children to consolidate their learning at home. It will challenge your children to apply their knowledge of how to add the -er suffix to a root word, including those that require changes to the root word and some common exception words.

This worksheet is differentiated three ways to give your children the correct level of challenge and provides two varied fluency and one reasoning question to work through. It could also be completed in class either independently, in pairs or with adult support. A full answer sheet is provided to make marking simple and quick.
