This engaging Year 2 Using Adjectives in Sentences Application and Reasoning worksheet provides children with the opportunity to apply their knowledge and understanding of adjectives. Children are asked to add two appropriate adjectives to a noun in a given sentence, write a sentence using two adjectives from a word bank and explain whether the adjectives used in a sentence are appropriate or not.

This worksheet is differentiated three ways to meet the needs of all your learners and provides one reasoning and two application questions to work through. It can be completed independently, in pairs or with adult support. A useful answer sheet is also provided to make marking quick and easy.
