Pupils will begin by discussing how exercise keeps our bodies healthy and strong. Pupils will learn how to take their pulse by counting the beats in their wrist or neck.

This hands-on investigation will help them understand how exercise affects heart rate and reinforces the concept that regular activity is essential to keep us healthy.
