This Year 3 Add and Subtract 10s Mixed Activity includes six questions with a variety of styles, such as varied fluency and problem solving. A range of representations are used to support learning, including Base 10, place value counters and digit cards. Children will need to match calculations to the correct answers, identify the missing numbers and explain which answer is correct.

This resource could be completed in small groups or as an independent task to assess pupils' understanding. An answer sheet is provided to allow for self or peer-marking.
