Tricky Eleven spellings split into blocks of five and six with separate word banks. Number of letters given. Words in the word banks are synonyms of spellings. One or two letters given in each spelling as a clue. Aimed at Year 3 Secure/Year 4 Emerging.

Expert Eleven spellings with one word bank. Number of letters given. Words in the word banks are synonyms of spellings. Aimed at Year 4 Developing.

Brainbox Eleven spellings with one word bank. Words in the word banks are synonyms of spellings. Aimed at Year 4 Secure.

Genius Eleven spellings without a word bank. Aimed at Year 4 Mastery.

Use this resource as an independent task in class to encourage children to use the words from the statutory spelling list for lower key stage 2. Alternatively, this could be used as a homework activity, or incorporate it into an intervention program; the choice is yours.
