Through the use of bar models and tens frames, children will apply their existing knowledge of Making Connections to more challenging contexts. This Year 3 Make Connections Reasoning and Problem Solving resource can be used independently or in pairs or groups to develop skills in identifying connections. Pupils will also have the opportunity to use their reasoning skills to explain why given methods are correct.
