This Year 3 Measure Mass in Kilograms and Grams Teaching PPT supports children as they move from measuring in whole kilograms to measuring in both kilograms and grams.

The content is organised into Let’s Learn sections, where new concepts, strategies and vocabulary are clearly modelled, and Let’s Practise sections, where pupils immediately apply their learning through short, focused tasks.

To deepen understanding, the PPT includes reasoning and problem-solving questions, encouraging children to apply their knowledge of mass in a variety of contexts and explain their thinking.
