In this Year 3 Multiples of 10 Teaching PPT, children deepen their understanding of multiples of 10 by exploring numbers beyond the 10 times table. They learn that all multiples of 10 end in zero and build on their prior knowledge of place value using a variety of representations, such as ten frames and place value charts.

The PPT is organised into Let’s Learn sections, where new ideas and vocabulary are modelled, and Let’s Practise sections, where pupils can apply their learning through short, focused activities. It also includes reasoning and problem-solving questions to deepen understanding and give children opportunities to apply their knowledge in different contexts.
