This Year 3 Multiples of 100 Supporting Activity provides two different activities which will help embed children’s understanding in a practical way. The first activity uses Base 10 hundred blocks, and children work in pairs. The second activity helps children learn to count in multiples of 100 using beads and string, they are further challenged in this activity to arrange their bead strings in size order. Use these activities in a practical maths area, as a supporting activity which children can choose to use throughout the day, or give a child extra support and allow them to complete the activity with an adult.
