What’s included in the Year 3 Rocks 5-Minute Science resource and why is it useful?

Year 3 Rocks 5-Minute Science is a set of three revision worksheets covering the whole topic of rocks. These have been designed to give your children up to three opportunities to engage in deliberate practice outside of the teaching of the topic. This resource covers comparing and grouping rocks by their appearance and properties, including permeability, hardness and durability, how fossils are formed, and what soil is made from, including soil types and the layers of soil.
