Are you wanting to turn your class in the right direction by supporting them to make links between turns and angles? We've got just the resource for you! It's time to give our Year 3 Turns and Angles Varied Fluency resource a try. This activity includes four different varied fluency style questions, with two of each type, that will help to build children's confidence. There is no need to differentiate this resource as it has already been done for you. You have three levels of challenge for your class to choose from.

Use as an independent learning task following your teaching input. This activity works well with the accompanying resources in this lesson. Alternatively, you could use this as part of an intervention, or as a homework task; the choice is yours! Marking will be a doddle with the handy answer page included too.

Curriculum Objectives

  • Recognise that angles are a property of shape or a description of a turn
  • Identify right angles, recognise that two right angles make a half-turn, three make three quarters of a turn and four a complete turn; identify whether angles are greater than or less than a right angle
