Use this Year 4 Calculate Perimeter of a Rectangle Varied Fluency resource to give your pupils practice calculating the perimeter of a rectangle.

In the first question, they are asked to pick the correct perimeter for a rectangle where all the measurements are given. In the second question, the lengths of two sides are given and they have to work out the lengths of the other two sides and the perimeter. In the final question, they are given the perimeter and the length of one side from which they calculate the lengths of the other three sides.

There are two similar parts to each question to promote fluency and an answer sheet is provided for teachers, and children who are marking their own work.
