We have created three levels of differentiation to offer you the choice of how you use it and gives you challenge for all children. Each worksheet includes four different question styles with two of each type to help children build their confidence in direct speech.

Use this resource as an independent activity in class following your teaching input. Alternatively, this is suitable for home learning such as homework, or an activity as part of an intervention; the choice is yours! There's a one-page answer sheet included too to help you mark as you teach, or whizz through that marking pile at the end of the day. It's easy enough to follow to allow children to peer or self-mark too.
