Use this Year 4 Perimeter on a Grid Varied Fluency resource to help children become confident when working out the perimeter of a rectilinear shape by counting squares. They also have the opportunity to draw a rectilinear shape with a specific perimeter so rulers are a must.

Each of the three questions has two similar versions to promote fluency and an answer sheet is provided for busy teachers.
