Use this Year 4 Round to the Nearest Whole Numbers Fluency Matrix resource to give your pupils a chance to consolidate what they know about rounding decimal numbers.

Over nine questions that gradually increase in difficulty and challenge, children will begin with number lines to help see why decimals round to a specific whole number then move onto rounding without that support. They will also solve real-life word problems and investigate which decimals round to given integers.
