This challenging Year 4 Using Speech in Paragraphs Application worksheet provides children with the opportunity to complete a written task where they can demonstrate their use and understanding of direct and indirect speech. This engaging worksheet can be completed independently, in pairs or as a teacher-led activity. It could be used in class or at home to give children the opportunity to apply their learning. A modelled answer is given which you can either show to your pupils as a good example or use it to inspire your marking.
