Children will enjoy playing the practical activity 'Decimal Dilemma' to further develop the skill of adding decimals with the same number of places. Pupils work in pairs to generate decimal numbers, which they represent on a place value chart to demonstrate their knowledge of the value of each digit, before calculating the answer.

This activity can be done in groups within a lesson or in smaller intervention groups depending on the needs of your class.
