This Year 5 Check Answers (Recap) Fluency Matrix revisits how to round numbers in calculations to give an approximate idea of the size of the answer. Over nine questions that gradually increase in challenge, children will identify calculations that have been correctly rounded, use rounding in various real-life situations (using whole numbers and decimals in the context of money) and estimate answers by rounding to different numbers. All answers are also included so that marking is as easy as possible!
