A Year 5 Common Factors powerpoint, complete with tasks and modelled answers. Our modelling powerpoint contains fluency, problem-solving and reasoning questions to help develop children's understanding of common factors. Children will practise identifying common factors, complete number sentences and investigate which numbers have the most number of common factors. Once confident, pupils will use their reasoning skills to justify whether given statements are correct. This resource can be used to support small group or whole-class teaching.
