Use this Year 5 Numbers to 10,000 Teaching PPT to review place value to 10,000 before introducing larger numbers to your class. This presentation uses place value charts to visually explain the value of each digit in a 4-digit number. Children are also reminded how to use zero as a placeholder and encouraged to use mental methods to add and subtract where appropriate.
