This Year 5 Parenthesis for Clarity Application worksheet challenges children's understanding and provides an opportunity to do an extended piece of writing.
A detective is searching for clues; use the collection of images to write the beginning of a detective story. Children are encouraged to include parenthesis in each paragraph to clarify meaning.
