
Use this Year 5 Read and Interpret Timetables Varied Fluency resource to give your pupils an opportunity to read and understand timetables in a variety of contexts.
Starting with a simple two-column timetable, the level of difficulty builds gradually across the resource. In each question, children are asked to retrieve information and interpret it within the constraints given.
Each question has two similar versions and these are spread across two pages to allow timetables to be easily read. An answer page is available on a third page to help busy teachers and children who are marking their own work.
A reasoning and problem solving resource is also available for this small step.
