Use this Year 5 Read and Interpret Timetables Reasoning and Problem Solving resource to give your pupils another opportunity to read and understand timetables in a variety of contexts.

There are two reasoning questions which will help your pupils develop a careful eye when looking at the details of a timetable. The problem solving question requires them, once again, to read the information contained in a timetable carefully in order to arrive at more than one solution to the problem posed.

Each question has two similar versions and these are spread across two pages to allow timetables to be easily read. An answer page is available on a third page to help busy teachers and children who are marking their own work.
