Use this Year 5 Read and Interpret Tables Reasoning and Problem Solving resource to give your class more practice interpreting the data presented in tables.

There are two reasoning questions that will ensure children understand how to read data in a table and find missing values in a data set. There is also a problem solving question which will challenge them to think of two different solutions to the same question. This encourages resilience and flexible thinking.

Each question has a parallel a and b set, and these are presented on separate pages. An answer sheet for both sets of questions is given on a third page.
