Explorers are great characters for our stories! In this writing task children are asked to use relative pronouns to describe the characters. Children are provided with a list of things to include to support their writing.

This Year 5 Relative Pronouns Application worksheet would be a great assessment tool as children use what they know about relative pronouns in their writing. This activity can be completed independently but could also be used as a discussion point for small groups or interventions.

The worksheet comes with a model answer which can be shared with the children as a good example or to aid your marking.
