Use this Year 5 Translations Varied Fluency resource to give your pupils an opportunity to translate points and shapes on a grid. The first of the three questions supports them to describe a translation with a stem sentence. In the second question, they go on to do this independently. In the third question, they translate a shape on a grid.

Each question has two similar parts to build fluency. An answer sheet is provided to help teachers and pupils marking their own work.
