This Year 6 Calculate with Metric Measures Reasoning and Problem Solving worksheet builds on the previous small step's work on converting between metric measures to solve problems involving calculating and converting units of measure. Children will reason if converting has been applied correctly to solve a real-life problem, then explore possible answers that satisfy a conversion problem. Finally, they will explain if a child has converted correctly when calculating. All answers are also included so that marking is as easy as possible!

Curriculum Objectives
- Use, read, write and convert between standard units, converting measurements of length, mass, volume and time from a smaller unit of measure to a larger unit, and vice versa, using decimal notation to up to three decimal places
- Solve problems involving the calculation and conversion of units of measure, using decimal notation up to three decimal places where appropriate
