Commas Application

Worksheet
An image of the Commas Application Resource

Have you ever imagined the world as it was before, when the dinosaurs roamed?

In this Year 6 Commas Application activity, children are challenged to use their knowledge and understanding of commas, and apply what they know to write some descriptive paragraphs about the image provided. Children are encouraged to use commas in lists, fronted adverbials, parenthesis and to separate clauses.

A model answer has been provided to guide your marking or to be used as a model text for children to analyse the use of commas.

Ideal for independent or paired work, this resource is designed to challenge children's understanding of commas in a fun and engaging way! Imagination is the key!
