Challenge your children to use a range of different word classes with this Year 6 Consolidating Word Classes 1 Application worksheet. With suggestions of various word classes that could be used, children are asked to apply their knowledge of word classes to write a detailed description using a given image.

With a handy answer sheet containing a suggested paragraph, this would be an excellent resource to use as an assessment tool, demonstrating that children can incorporate a range of word classes into their writing succinctly.
