This Year 6 Mental Calculations and Estimation Homework resource is differentiated into three levels of challenge to cater for a range of learning needs. Pupils will need to identify the most efficient order to solve a number sentence, find a suitable calculation to give an approximate answer and find a more efficient way to solve a calculation. Whilst designed as a homework resource, it could also be used as an extension activity in class, either independently or in small groups.
