In this Year 6 Multiply up to a 4-Digit Number by a 2-Digit Number Discussion Problem, children must use their reasoning and problem-solving skills to experiment with numbers to complete the questions. There are two questions that are in-depth, and may have more than one way to solve, as well as multiple possible answers. An example answer for each question has been included on the answer page to make your marking easier. Why not extend your children's knowledge by challenging them to find more than one answer.
