Tricky Match three shapes to their name from a choice of four. Shapes can be in any orientation and may be irregular. Aimed at Year 1 Greater Depth/Year 2 Expected.

National Curriculum Objectives

Mathematics Year 1: (1G1a) Recognise and name common 2-D shapes [for example, rectangles (including squares), circles and triangles].

Mathematics Year 2: (2G2a) Identify and describe the properties of 2-D shapes, including the number of sides and line symmetry in a vertical line.
