Differentiation:
Beginner Using short division to divide a 3-digit number by a 1-digit number. Whole number answers. Aimed at Year 5 Developing.
Easy Using short division to divide a 4-digit number by a 2-digit number less than 20. Whole number answers. Aimed at Year 5 Secure/Year 6 Emerging.
Tricky Using short division to divide a 4-digit number by any 2-digit number. Mostly whole number answers (answers greater than 100). Some use of remainders. Aimed at Year 6 Secure.
Expert Using short division to divide a 4-digit number by any 2-digit number. Answers include remainders. Answers less than 100 (this makes the process more difficult). Aimed at Year 6 Mastery.
