Tricky Add and subtract 1 or 2 digit numbers. Multiply within the 2, 5 and 10 times tables.  Aimed at Year 2 Secure/Year 3 Emerging.

Expert Add and subtract 1, 2 or 3 digit numbers. Multiply within the 2, 5, 10, 3, 4 and 8 times tables. Aimed at Year 3 Secure/Year 4 Emerging.

National Curriculum Objectives

Mathematics Year 1: (1C2a) Add and subtract one-digit and two-digit numbers to 20, including zero
Mathematics Year 2: (2C2b) Add and subtract numbers using concrete objects, pictorial representations, and mentally for two two-digit numbers
Mathematics Year 2: (2C6) Recall and use multiplication and division facts for the 2, 5 and 10 multiplication tables, including recognising odd and even numbers
Mathematics Year 3: (3C6) Add and subtract numbers with up to three digits, using formal written methods of columnar addition and subtraction
Mathematics Year 4: (4C6a) Recall multiplication and division facts for multiplication tables up to 12 × 12
Mathematics Year 4: (4C2) Add and subtract numbers with up to 4 digits using the formal written methods of columnar addition and subtraction where appropriate
Mathematics Year 5: (5C7b) Divide numbers up to 4 digits by a one-digit number using the formal written method of short division and interpret remainders appropriately for the context
