Discussion points for teachers

        1. Use the clues to help Jib open the entrance. Discuss how knowledge of partitioning numbers into tens and ones can help solve calculations using the addition symbol.
        2. Help Jib to escape the river of lava by making four different addition number sentences using the stepping stones. Jib must start at the top row each time and make his way down to the bottom row of the stepping stones. Discuss how tens and ones can be partitioned to make a total.
        3. Help Jib to disarm the robot by filling in the missing numbers. Discuss how to find the missing numbers using knowledge of tens and ones.
