Who Let the Gods Out? Chapter 11 Comprehension for Whole Class Guided Reading includes differentiated questions and activities based on chapter eleven of the popular novel by Maz Evans. In chapter eleven, Charon takes Thanatos to Tartarus (a fiery prison). Thanatos sees an old enemy who has been pushing the same, heavy boulder up a hill for many years. Charon drops off a shopping delivery for one of the prisoners, who is unhappy with the item substitutions as his order was out of stock everywhere. Thanatos throws the unwanted item to his old enemy, who is about to reach the top of the hill with his boulder. Thanatos then goes looking for his daemons to find out who imprisoned them all and is shocked to find out it was his own twin brother. He vows to free them from their prison.
