Who Let the Gods Out? Chapter 21 Comprehension

Who Let the Gods Out? Chapter 21 Comprehension for Whole Class Guided Reading includes differentiated questions and activities based on chapter twenty-one of the popular novel by Maz Evans. In chapter 21, Zeus and the other gods head off to get the Earth Stone (hidden in the Crown Jewels), leaving Elliot and Virgo behind. They are upset about being left out and although they disagree, they understand why they are not allowed to go. After waving the gods off, they head back to the barn to finish their homework but the delivery of the Daily Argus changes their plans. The front page details Zeus' plan to take the Crown Jewels. Elliot realises that Thanatos will also know what Zeus' plan is now and they decide to catch the train to London to go and warn the gods. Patricia Porshley-Plum watches Elliot and Virgo leave and takes the opportunity to go and speak with Josie about finally selling the farm.
