Who Let the Gods Out? Chapter 24 Comprehension

Who Let the Gods Out? Chapter 24 Comprehension for Whole Class Guided Reading includes differentiated questions and activities based on chapter twenty-four of the popular novel by Maz Evans. In chapter 24, Elliot, Virgo and Pegasus follow the trucks to Buckingham Palace. They fly around the castle and find the Queen having tea and crumpets in her private parlour. The Queen invites them in through the window and listens to their story. Surprisingly, she is not shocked by their story but she is hesitant to hand over her crown. The Queen calls her butler into the room but when he eventually enters, it turns out to be Hypnos in disguise. Hypnos attacks the Queen to try and get her crown but the Queen surprises them all with some hidden talents of her own! She manages to scare Hypnos who jumps out of the window and flies away. She decides it is safer for everyone if she swaps her Imperial State Crown with Hephaestus' replica.
