English Year 1: (1G3) Sequencing sentences to form short narratives

Differentiation:

Questions 1, 4 and 7 (Varied Fluency)
Developing Match sentences to the missing word. Vocabulary choices are single consonant, vowel sounds or digraphs. No split digraphs used. The conjunction ‘and’ is used. Sentences end with full stops.
Expected Match sentences to the missing word. Using only phonetically decodable words, including all phonic sounds. The conjunctions ‘and’ and ‘but’ are used. Sentences end with full stops or question marks.
Greater Depth Match sentence to the missing word. Using some words that are not phonetically decodable. The conjunctions ‘and’, ‘but’ and ‘or’ are featured. Sentences end with full stops or an exclamation mark.

Developing Rewrite a sentence in the correct order. Vocabulary choices are single consonant, vowel sounds or digraphs. No split digraphs used. The conjunction ‘and’ is used. Sentences end with full stops.
Expected Rewrite a sentence in the correct order. Using only phonetically decodable words, including all phonic sounds. The conjunctions ‘and’ and ‘or’ are used. Sentences end with a full stops or a question mark.
Greater Depth Rewrite a sentence in the correct order. Using some words that are not phonetically decodable. The conjunctions ‘but’ and ‘or’ are featured. Sentences end with a full stops or a question mark.
